A holiday campaign positioning Google Duo as the best way to stay in touch with friends and family after the holidays
Challenge
Google asked us to pitch a holiday campaign to raise awareness around its video calling app, Duo, and increase the number of users going into the new year.
Solution
We got to thinking: How many times had we promised our family back home that we’d keep in touch after the holiday? And how well had those promises turned out? This insight led us to build a campaign for “After the Holidays” positioning Google Duo as the best way to stay in touch all year long.
The campaign was viewed over 140 million times and significantly exceeded all of its metrics, including video completion benchmarks across platforms.
